Kickin N Kookin for Kids – Phi Mu ULL

The mission of Children’s Miracle Network at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital is to increase funds and awareness for children’s health at the only not-for-profit hospital in Central Louisiana.  Identified as one of the 170 CMN Hospitals across North America, CHRISTUS Cabrini serves over 270 children a day through 3 world class children’s departments:  Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Therapy Center and 17 School Based Health Centers in rural schools.

The funds generated at Phi Mu’s recent Kickin-N-Kookin event will further Cabrini’s mission to extend world-class faith inspired health care to all patients with special concern for the poor and under served. Recognized as one of the hospital’s top 10 donors, Phi Mu – ULL is a key factor in the success of the Cabrini mission and in healthy pediatric outcomes.

Phi Mu sisters, various fraternity brothers, campus clubs, donors, chefs and the general public rallied around one of CHRISTUS Cabrini’s most energetic and talented miracle children.  Julian, a CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital pediatric visitor at the Kickin-N-Kookin event, brought a smile to the faces of everyone including the Jambalaya chefs who came to compete!  Whether he was dart throwing, drawing, listening to live music or stirring a pot of Jambalaya, Julian entertained his fellow visitors and truly represented what this event was all about:  LOVE for the CMN children of Louisiana!
