The ladies of Phi Mu Alumnae’s Cenla Chapter surprise new mom’s with essential Breast Feeding Care Packages
The ladies of Phi Mu Alumnae’s Cenla Chapter surprise new mom’s with essential Breast Feeding Care Packages. With 62% of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital’s patients under the poverty line, these packages are greatly needed. The Phi Mu Alumnae Breast Feeding Care Packages are not only meaningful but essential for babies and mom’s from 14 parishes who are brought in emergently via ambulance or helicopter, when their needs exceed what is available at their local hospital. These moms routinely find themselves in a foreign town without the luxuries of home. Phi Mu Alumnae members are ensuring that these moms are properly equipped and feel AT HOME during their infant’s impromptu and critical treatment at Cabrini Hospital’s high level 3, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
