Super One Foods PAR TEE ON THE BAYOU raises $10,000 for local CMN Kids

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital’s one-of-a-kind Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) golf tournament, Par Tee on the Bayou, on November 3rd was full of quirky games and plenty of laughter! This unusual event that raised over $10,000 for local kids at CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital was made possible by a major sponsor, Super One Foods, and local businesses such as Wal-Mart, Southwest Beverage (Bud Light), UTLX (The Tank Car People), Coca Cola, Mid State Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center, and HHS who donated generously to saving kids lives in Central Louisiana.

Voted the best municipal course in Louisiana, Links on the Bayou provided a terrific challenge while the sponsors provided the fun.  CMN thanks Cleco, Remax Premier Realty, Walk-Ons Alexandria (Opening in Dec.), Peregrine Solutions, Key Realty, Skip Converse, Ritchie Real Estate, and Mid-Louisiana Surgical Specialists who each made the holes and games unique and exciting. CMN hopes that all teams including Southern Heritage Bank, AT&T Pioneers, and Savoy Medical Center will join us again next year for the silliest golf tournament around. Dates will be announced soon.

It is through the partnerships with these local folks that life saving services and equipment are made available to kids in CHRISTUS Cabrini’s NICU, Pediatric Therapy Center, and 17 rural School Based Health Centers. Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital touches the lives of 270 babies, children, and teenagers a day – This is a big shout out to every Par Tee On the Bayou sponsor and participant who helped save a life locally!
